Each 1 g of ointment contains:
Lidocaine Hydrochloride 25 mg.
Zinc Oxide 70 mg.
Relief of pain, burning, and itching associated with hemorrhoids.
Anal skin irritation and minor fissures.
Protecting the skin from irritation and moisture.
(Note: This product is not an antifungal and is not used to treat intestinal fungal infections.)
Clean and dry the area thoroughly before applying the ointment.
Apply a small amount of ointment to the affected area 2-3 times daily or as directed by a physician.
Can be used for short periods until symptoms improve (usually 5-7 days).
Wash your hands after each use to avoid skin or eye irritation.
Hypersensitivity to any of the ointment ingredients, especially Lidocaine or Zinc Oxide.
Open wounds or severe skin infections in the target area (without consulting a doctor).
Do not use for prolonged periods without consulting a doctor.
Use with caution in the elderly or patients with liver/heart disease due to the risk of absorbing large amounts of Lidocaine.
Stop use if a rash, severe itching, or excessive irritation occurs.
No common drug interactions when used topically at the recommended doses.
Inform your doctor if you are taking medications that affect the heart or liver.
Common: Mild burning, temporary skin irritation, or redness.
Rare: Rash, localized allergy, swelling, or a feeling of excessive numbness upon Lidocaine absorption.
Pregnancy: Safe when used topically in limited amounts.
Lactation: Safe for topical use; avoid infant contact with the treated area.
Pregnancy Category: Not classified.
Using excessively large amounts or frequent application can lead to Lidocaine absorption, causing neurological or cardiac symptoms (dizziness, numbness, irregular heartbeat).
Treatment: Stop use immediately, wash the affected area, monitor vital signs, and provide supportive treatment as needed.
Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place (below 25°C).
Keep away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach of children.
