Each suppository contains:
- Lidocain hydrochloride 70 mg
- Zinc oxide 100 mg
- Excipient Q .S one supp.

This medicament is a combination of the two elements lidocain hydrochloride and zinc oxide, lidocain is used as a local anaesthetic in haemorrhoid cases, also it is detected of its analgesic effect without affecting the central nervous system, while zinc oxide effects as skin restorative and softening in addition to its analgesic effect and in removing oedems, so the combination of the two mentioned elements in Sinaproct will have a good effect in the treatment of haemorrhoid specially the internal one.
The side effects are the local effects caused by the using of the medicament in the from of suppositories, and it is a little sinsibility in the case of the restricting for doses prescribed by the physician, which includes the reaching of the required clinical treatment effect without having the absorption, which if happens the cardiac systematic side effects for lidocain element will appear.
Medicinal sensitization cases for zinc oxide or lidocain.
The effect of Sinaproct is decreased with the combination with sulphonamid and it is increased with the combination with cholinesterase inhibitor.
It is recommended to use the suppository after defecation.
- Adults 1 – 3 suppositories daily.
- Children 0.5 suppository from 1 – 3 times daily.
- Adults 1 – 3 suppositories daily.
- Children 0.5 suppository from 1 – 3 times daily.
A coloured cartoon pack contains 10 suppositories.
