Each tablet contains:
- 1 mg of sodium fluoride
- Equivalent to 0.45 mg of fluoride
- 1 mg of sodium fluoride
- Equivalent to 0.45 mg of fluoride
SINAFLOR is used for preventing the dental caries in children.
SINAFLOR provides the recommeded fluoride to children in communities where water supplies are deficient in fluoride (less than 0.7 p.p.m).
The continual use of dietary fluoride supplements during tooth development in fluoride deficient communities can greatly reduce caries.

Sodium fluoride acts systemically and topically in the reduction of dental caries by promoting remineralization by inhibiting the cariogenic microbial process and by converting enamel hydroxiapatite crystals to fluorapatite which is more resistant to acid dissolution.
SINAFLOR may be permitted to dissolve in the mouth or chewed. Chewing may provide maximum surface benefit to tooth enamel.
SINAFLOR can be used directly into the mouth or added to most liquids:
- Babies: From 6 mounth to second year ½ tablet per day.
- Enfants: From 2 years to 4 years 1 tab per day.
- Enfants: From 4 years to 16 years two tabs daily.
- Adults: From 16 years and over two tablets daily also for pregnants and lactation time.
- Adults: In case of osteoporosis it is recommended to use 4 tablets daily.
