Each tablet contains 25 mg of Calcium Carbonate.

Calcium Plus treats deficiencies that cause fragile eggs, narrowing of the oviduct, infertility, and weak eggshells. Calcium is essential for ovarian muscle contractions; therefore, calcium deficiency weakens these contractions, preventing the bird from being able to expel the egg from the uterus. Calcium deficiency during bird breeding may lead to infertility, making birds unable to lay eggs.

The presence of Vitamin D3 plays an important role in supporting bone health by facilitating calcium absorption. One of the main causes of rickets is Vitamin D3 deficiency, which reduces the body’s ability to absorb calcium and bind phosphate.

Vitamin D3 deficiency also causes reduced bone mineral density. On the other hand, excessive levels of calcium in the blood beyond the recommended dosage may cause allergic reactions, constipation, decreased phosphate levels, and calcium deposition in muscle tissues.

Pigeons: Orally, one tablet daily for 5 days, repeated periodically.

Ornamental birds and canaries: One tablet in 30 ml of water for 5 days, repeated periodically.
