Pefloxin
Leaflet
Each 1 ml of Bufloxin solution contains 100 mg of Bufloxacin mesylate.
Bufloxin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, as well as all types of Mycoplasma that affect living organisms. Bufloxin has an advantage over other antimicrobials of the same group, as it is rapidly absorbed and achieves higher tissue concentrations compared to other quinolone derivatives.
Indications: Bufloxin is used for the treatment of septicemia, typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, biliary tract infections, bone and joint infections, gastritis, and respiratory tract infections.
Canaries and small birds: 5 drops in every 30 ml of water, renewed daily for 5–7 days; in severe cases, up to 10 consecutive days.
Pigeons: Administer 5 drops orally once daily for 5–7 days; in severe cases, up to 10 consecutive days. Alternatively, 5 drops can be added to 30 ml of water, renewed daily.
