Each coated tablet contains: Diclofenac potassium 50 mg
Diclofenac potassium is dichloro-aniline-phenyl acetic acid. belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) which are used to treat pain and inflammation such as pain.

CATASINA is indicated for relief of:
-Back pain, frozen shoulder. tennis elbow and other forms of soft-tissue rheumatism.
Rheumatoid pain - Osteoarthritis pain - Migrain attacks-Mild to moderate Pain and swelling following surgery – primary dysmenorrheal.

: CATASINA is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac.

If you have had any disease in the stomach or intestine. or have experienced stomach discomfort or heartburn after taking NSAIDS in the past. tell your doctor.
If you suffer from asthma. heart disease. liver disease, kidney disease. high blood pressure, a bleeding disorder or other blood disorders. including hepatic porphyria. also tell your doctor and take these things into account before and during your treatment with CATASINA.

Tell the doctor if you are taking any other medicines apart from CATASINA because it may be necessary to change the dosage or stop taking one of the medicines.

- Lithium – Digoxin – Methotrexate – Cyclosporin - Medicines used to treat diabetes except insulin •Diuretic drugs - Medicines used to prevent blood clotting (anticoagulants) such as warfarin - Some medicines used to treat infection (quinolone) - other NSAIDS such as Aspirin or Ibuprofen.
Use in children: CATASINA tablets are not recommended for use in children less than 14 years of age.

If you accidentally take more CATASINA tablets than prescribed ask your doctor at once
Like all medicines CATASINA may sometimes cause unwanted effects.
These include stomach dyspepsia. feeling sick, heartburn. Vomiting. diarrhea. abdominal cramps, wind. loss of appetite. headache. dizziness and rashes - Other side effects may also occur in some patients. if you notice any of the following effects -Stomach discomfort. heartburn or pain in the upper region of the abdomen. tell your doctor immediately
-Vomiting blood or passing blood stools or bloody urine - Skin disorders such as rash or itching.
-Yellowing of the skin or eyes persistent sore throat or high temperature.
Swelling of the face feet or legs - Severe headache - Chest pain with cough.
These include stomach dyspepsia. feeling sick, heartburn.
